Appalachia
The Appalachian Mountain range is the oldest mountain range in the world, having existed before the separation of Pangea. These once impossibly tall mountains have been worn down over millennia into the land we see today. Cherokee legend says that the mountains and valleys were created from the beating of a giant buzzard's wings. It is a beautiful place full of waterfalls, canyons, and gorgeous views.
